A fun way to tell my stepsons the sex of the baby :)

So I have 2 wonderful stepsons!! Their 14 & 10, I'm actually gonna see first if I can make an appointment so they can be there for the ultrasound but I don't know if the place I need to go is open weekends. If not I'm trying to think of a fun way to tell them! I was thinking of like a scavenger hunt, one boy will have a girl & the other a boy so at the end of it they will find something (idk what yet) that says no ur not having a girl/boy this time & the other say congratulations ur having a baby girl/boy & they just can't wait to meet u!! My husband said his oldest might not be into it as much as his youngest but I think if he sees his brother into it he would! & both of them are great & if I wanna do something they might not wanna do they will act very interested just to make me happy! I love them so much & wanna make them so much a part of this especially since their moms not the greatest unfortunately & has had 2 other kids & totally kept them out of everything, wont even let the boys hold them or anything & has pushed them aside! I keep telling them that wont happen here & I mean that! They are my boys by love!!

The cake idea is a good one too :) & cnhauk thanks that really means a lot to me!! I love my husband & his sons have been through so much, had to grow up faster then they should have & their just amazing! I try my best with them & do consider them as if they were my own!

That's so wonderful to hear! I love hearing and seeing when step-parents really treat the kids as though they are their own. And I know (as a step-daughter) the kid appreciate it, too. Youre doing a great job making them feel important and included!

wow that is creative! and sounds like fun, i was thinking of the good old pink or blue cake that they cant see till you cut into it... now my idea seems quite boring! lol
