A little surprise

Okay so as you know I took a test yesterday or the day before. Before that one I tested with another FRER just a day or two prior. I'm telling you- I'm getting POAS crazy all of a sudden. So anyway they were both negative but the thing is that the last one I took wasn't FMU and I thought I saw a second line trying to emerge and then it faded to nothing.

Well I throw my tests in my undie drawer and I was just going to go grab them to toss in the trash and noticed both tests had faint, faint second lines on them. I've NEVER had that with FRER ever. It wouldn't matter if the test was a month old it wouldn't have an evap line.

So I either got a faulty box and these just had evap lines. Or I tested early.

I'm getting another box tomorrow and am going to wait a couple more days to retest just to be sure. The second line trying to appear and then disappearing is really the deciding factor for me to go get another test. That was super weird to me. It's hard to describe it. I'm the kind of person that will sit there and watch the test. I can't just leave it for 10 minutes and walk away. So I see the first line kind of pink up and then it faded to nothing just as the second line (control line) turned and stayed pink. It was SO weird! I wonder if my test was faulty.

I would just run out right now except I just peed and all three girls are fast asleep. My breasts are spilling out of my bras and I'm bloated and my pants are feeling snug (I haven't gained weight). The bloating is usually a first sign for me but it could also mean ovulation or period is coming.

This is getting exciting!

mommaof4ormore- I think I agree with you. These tests do seem to have evap lines or I had a faulty box.

BFN friends! But I'm not discouraged or upset at all. We haven't really gotten the ball rolling on this so we'll see what the next several months hold!

I had the exact thing happen. It seems that the new 6 day early FRER are starting to have evap lines. I have never had one that was really neg show anything, but these new ones if you let them sit a day or two will start to show a very faint line. I had blood test after my very faint and it was neg. So retest and see what it does, but I wouldn't accept a + unless it shows up in the first few minutes. I even had a FRER show up very faint + before 10 min and had quite a few of you ladies agree it was a very faint + and the blood test was neg. I hope you get the results you are looking for. I am nursing an 8 month old and just had my first period this week, so best of luck.

I have always heard FRER never have evap lines!!!! I have never had evap lines on mine! I also leave them in my undie drawer (why? I don't know) and look a day later and they don't have a line!!! Sounds promising!!!!!! SSBD to you!!!!!

so exciting!  Mine was the same way. I took a HPT on the 26th of april. faint faint line, then 15 mine later a dark thin line showed up. 7 days later negative test. 7 more days later negative test. on may 10th hubby told me to take one again. so he went to work I had to pee took 1 and BOOM BFP. went to the drs. on the 12 and they said i most likely conceived on april 24th. so It showed really early!

That is exciting! with my first pregnancy test this pregnancy the lines were really light, so light I thought I was seeing things (my first 3 tests were blue dye too, then I got a first response and it was really light too) then I finally took a digital and it said pregnant. how is your baby now 7 or 8 months? they would be pretty close! Good luck!!

that would be great!!! I told you though...when you expect it to take forever for some reason it happens right away, and vice versa...so I totally wouldn't be surprised. Let us know when you test again!!!

With this pregnancy I took a test and it didn't come up as positive within the first like 3 minutes so I threw it away. Then the next day I threw out a diaper and it knocked the test out (I hate taking out trash! I leave that to the man) and it had a kinda positive line. I too don't really believe in evap lines really and it freaked me out so I went to the store and bought another test and within a couple minutes it came out positive. Now I'm 23 weeks. Possible that you could be pregnant again love! :)
