same here i used diff kinds my last pregnancy but was told to watch what kinds i use so last pregnancy i quit using them and havn't used ne this time yet. i love proactive when i'm not pregnant but didn't know if it was safe and i guess not. i agree it would be better if we knew what ingredients to avoid lol

I am the same way, same problem areas.  I've heard other ladies say Proactiv is not safe.  I know it works wonders and I would be so happy if I could use it.  I'm just going to the store and going to look through all the acne solutions and whichever doesn't have the Salicylic Acid I'm going to buy it up.  My problem is I don't know what other ingredients I'm supposed to watch out for.  Guess I'm going to have to google...  Good luck!

I was going to say something similar - it might be the extra hormones.  I just had a boy and my face seemed to be more clear when I was pregnant.  Wash your face before you go to bed and there might not be much else you can do!  Good luck.

I also get this problem and have had it with both my pregnancies. I have a little girl and am 34 weeks with a boy so for me it is just pregnancy and nothing to do with gender that makes me get pimples.  I have heard mixed reports about using pro-active and have chosen not to use it myself, but you could always ask your doc for his personal opinion.  I am lucky that my skin tends to clear up by the second tri and this time has stayed clear rather than get some very dry patches towards the ends like i did with my little girl. Yes it is normal and very common - hormone related and there is not much you can do besides drink plenty of water and fresh foods.  Wash your face twice daily and use a non-oily moisturizer.  Good luck and I hope it clears up soon.
