ADHD.

Is ADHD/ADD hereditary?  My mother, and brother has ADHD, my sister has ADD. Me and my dad are the only ones without it. My boyfriend doesnt have either, could my baby get ADHD or ADD even though my boyfriend or I dont have it?

I have heard yes but my sons doctor says no. He says all of the bright flashing toys and sounds and the TV and stuff make kids ADHD. He also says that a hyper kid is a smart kid. I personally agree that we make our children ADHD to some extent. I would just do some research and educate yourskef
