Accurate ultrasound

I had my LMP on Sept 27th, got a positive PT on Oct 30th (estimating conception on Oct 15th), went for my physical exam on Dec 4th and the Dr said she thought I was about 6-8 weeks pregnant. Had my first U/S on Jan 4th and it said I was 13 week and 3 days...My husband and I were sperated in the beginiing of Sept, if i wouldve gotten pregnant on Sept 13th....is it possible that the U/S would be off by 3 weeks?

Thanks alot...it def helped to put things in perspective...maybe now i can sleep better...well sleep better at least until the baby gets bigger LOL

nope....oct 16 is calc as your conc...when you find out your preg...when you miss your AF...they say you are 4 weeks....

another way of saying it is that they calculate your due date by your LMP...so if you add 2 weeks to your LMP (varies for women) that should estimate your conception date

if the 1st 2 weeks dont count...would that make my conception date earlier than the 16th of Oct? Say around Oct 2nd?

remember the first 2 weeks of your preg dont really count so that is def possible :)

We got back together at the end of September, right about when I had my LMp on the 27th...I had even taken test in the beginning of OCT and they said negative....I  guess I was worried because if everything was accurate then the test showed up exactly 2 weeks after I conceieved.

I figured it was a lil far fetched...I'm just paranoid...I told my husband about it and he sys the same thing..."Stop worrying about it" "I dont see it being possible" it being my 1st pregnancy and me not wanting to crush his heart I guess i'm over thinking everything.

I am with waitn on this one. I know I conceived on October 20th and I actually had an appointment on January 4 as well that put me at 12 weeks 6 days (exactly 4 days off from you). I would guess conception was October 16. I don't think it's possible you conceived on Sept. 13, especially since your last period was after that.

your appt on jan 4 would put your conception at oct 16

u/s usually can be off up to a week but anything over a week is questionable and highly doubtful
