Advise please..

This may be a weird question but I need some advice.
I am at the end of my 36th week and recently I've been having a stabbing pain in the middle of one of my butt checks. It hurt so bad tonight that I could not put pressure on my right foot and walk to the couch unless I turned my foot and walked on its side. My husband wants to go to the ER but I am afraid a Xray could hurt the baby this late in my pregnancy.  Advice appreciated. Thanks

Sciatic nerve. Google stretches and yoga poses for it and have your boyfriend rub it out every night.

Thanks ladies. I loathe hospitals, great thing when pregnant lol. I'm going to try and suck it up. Warm bath, Tylenol when needed. Feel weird massaging my own bum :). Could always be worse, right? Only three more weeks

Sounds like sciatic nerve pain. Very common and normal. If you cant bear the pain, go in. Try a warm bath. Try massaging in circular motions with warm baby oil. Take care

They won't necessarily give you an x-ray - doctors know what to do in this situation. For your peace of mind and her husbands maybe go to the ER and see if there is anything they can do to ease the pain.

It sounds like sciatic nerve. Which is common in pregnancy, especially farther along. Does it feel like you need to stretch your leg? If you've not done anything to hurt yourself Then an X-ray is not needed.
