Af after a chemical pregnancy

DH and I got our first bfp last month after 8 months of ttc. Unfortunately a couple days after I got my bfp's, I began to bleed (I tested the day after af was due). My GYN confirmed my chemical pregnancy. I am now on CD 37 after my cp. I have been having af-like cramps, but nothing is there. In fact, I'm still having abundant slippery cm and my cervix is high up. DH and I bd'ed what seemed like every day the week I would normally ovulate. It's been over 5 weeks and I haven't had my second af after cp. I tested three or four days ago and got a bfn. Is this normal for my cycle to be all messed up? Has anyone conceived within 2-3 months following a cp?

Chemical pregnancys can mess up your cycle.same as any other loss.it sounds like you havent ovulated yet.which will explain the abundance of cm.i would give it couple weeks then maybe ask your doctor to give you something to help bring on your period..
