Am I still pregnant :(

Last week on Wednesday I found out I was 3 weeks and 2 days pregnant with my second child.. 2 days later I started my period and has been cramping off and on... I took a test last night and the day b4 and it was negative. did I have an early miscarriage??. can I still be pregnant??. I was told the doctors want be able to hook me up to an ultrasound machine until I'm at least 5 weeks.. the not knowing is killing me ...

@Quincy - Not every miscarriage has pain, cramps, or bleeding right away. They're called "missed miscarriages", where your body doesn't know your baby stopped growing, died, etc. basically til you go for an ultrasound. Happened to my mom. She didn't know she'd miscarried til she went in for a scan at about 8 weeks, then she had to have a d&c.

With bleeding and a negative test I would say it was a miscarriage. Sorry.

Could've been a chemical pregnancy.
