Am i pregnant

i was 5 days late for my period last month then had 3 days of light spotting. usually have a very regular cycle i did preg test after spotting was neg now next month i am 9 days late no spotting no sign of a period am i pregnant?

so scan today showed a penut baby size 2.5mm
i am 5 weeks 3 days along. baby has strong heart beat.
due june 1st 2012

well guys results came back this morning! And is a postive result. we are pegnant im about 6 weeks along so excited now good luck to every one.

yep implantation can be quite common and so can a very light period like bleeding at the times your period would have been due for the first few months :) good luck I hope you are :)

thanks stacey had great midwifes 1st 2 times round... dr said the chance of pregnancy is very high and that last month could have been implantion bleeding which i had never heard of until yesterday.. just keeeping a open mind trying not to get to excited

the blood test you have had done is to check your hcg levels, some places they do them over a couple of days to see/make sure that the level is rising. It does sound as though you maybe pregnant, dont worry new zealand is one of the best places to gbe pregnant and give birth, and they have a fantastic midwifery antenatal care, good luck :)

i live in new zealna i dont knoiw if they do tests like that hear.. with both previous kids i didnt get preg symptoms and still had a regular period until 4 months it stopped this is when i found out i was preg. i have had neg results with my oldest child which in fact was wrong as when i took it i was 2 months preg this is just not normal for me and i dont want to be disappointed again by another neg result... im not really having any symptoms besides tired all the time and im usually full of energy plus i have put on a lil bit weight in the past 2 months.  not quite shore what to think yet, if bloods come back tomoro as a neg i will ask about this test your talking about but im hoping its as strate forward as the last 2 times and gives me a accurate result. keeping my fingers crossed

You could be pregnant. Did you test before 4 months with both of your children? I suggest you go to the dr and ask for your hcg levels to be checked, tell them you don't want the yes/no blood test, but to have the actual numbers looked at to see what your levels are. A level of above 5 is considered to be pregnant by some drs, others require a higher level, but if you are pregnant, your levels should be higher.

i went and did bloods today so im waiting for results. fingers crossed. we have only been trying 5 months. but this is very unusuall for me to miss periods or be late.. i have 2 children already  but i didnt find out i was preg till 4months with both of them.. im really nervous and just want to see what people think.
