Any clue?

Hello! I am a 27years old nulliparous (I've NEVER given birth and I've NEVER been Pregnant) female who for 2months now has been experiencing what I would say strange symptoms(not the usual for me). It all began 2months ago when I had PROTECTED (he used a condom) sex with my boyfriend. I thought the condom might have torn since I saw what I thought as excessive discharge but after carefully investigating it, it seemed perfectly intact. A few days later, I had some minor bleeding (spotting). A discharge and itching (This is the FIRST time I've ever had anything abnormal with my vagina) then followed a few days after the spotting. I waited for it to clear but it didn't and I couldn't stand the itching anymore so I went and bought a Vagisil screening kit and Miconazole3 (vaginal antifungal) medication since I believed the discharge was candida (it was whitish in colour like "cottage Cheese"). The Vagisil screening kit showed the PH of my vaginal was normal (4.5 according to the kit) and since it was normal and accompanied by itching, it diagnosed it as "may be a yeast infection". I gave a few days after screening hoping the discharge will go away and also since the Miconazole3 medication warned not to use if this was the FIRST time one ever had this symptoms and to instead consult their doctor. Out of desperation (not having health insurance and a doctor) I finally used the Miconazole3 (Vaginal Antifungal) medication which contained 3prefilled applicators to be used in 3consecutive days.
The discharge and itching finally cleared then a few days later I had my period (This was in June). My period was normal and 3days after it finished, I ran a 5km marathon(29th June,2008). I then started bleeding for 7days from the day of the Marathon. The bleeding ended then my period came normaly(when it was suppose to) although I thought it was delayed but if I consider the bleeding after the marathon as my period (my menstrual cycle beeing offset/disturbed), then the period came at the right time(Thursday,24th July, 2008) and it finished after its normal duration (Thursday, 31st July,2008) which was last week. I started bleeding(spotting) on Wednesday this week after a lower left quadrant pain which moved to my lower right quadrant and on Friday (Friday, 8th August,2008), I sent out a MASSIVE (about 5cm) what appears to be a clot (it was shaped as a comma or an embryo). I've NEVER passed out a clot that BIG (especially since I am not really on my period but just having this strange between period bleed) so I've been so worried if it wasn't an embryo. I intend to take the pregnancy test tomorrow (I was intending to when all these symptoms began but because I had my period TWICE I decided not to and my friends said I can't be because I saw my period and I had protected sex plus I do not have any other signs of pregnancy such as Nausea, fatigue,e.t.c).

I want to know:
1.) If it is possible to be 2months pregnant without any missed period or symptoms (apart from the vaginal discharge and between period bleeds),
2.) If that was just a clot or a spontaneous abortion and
3.) If after a spontaneous abortion a pregnancy test will be positive.
In short, I really want to know if anyone has any suggestions of what might be wrong with me and what I can do (bearing in mind I do not have any health insurance).

Just wondering if I might have a bleeding disorder since my family history includes;
1.) I have sickle cell trait (I am a carrier of the Sickle Cell gene)
2.) I Had a sibling with sickle cell.
3.) I Have a Sibling with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (S.L.E).
4.) My mother is hypertensive (has high blood pressure).

Any suggestions will be GREATLY appreciated. THANKS.

passed massive clot last night. woke me from a sound sleep.  most of my period has been bright red. this was dark red and about 2 inches in length. it reminded me of was passed after i gave birth to one of my children.  seemed like a gelatinous sheet of blood almost..  might this have been a polyp, cyst, etc.  doubt very highly it was a miscarriage.  any ideas?

Clots can also be cysts that randomly expel themselves from your body. I had a cyst last year and I bled for 2 days and was passing clots that were about the half the size of a watermelon. It was terrifying. I had NO symptoms. I literally went to the store, came back to the hotel ( I was on vacation..great), and when I hopped out of the car, my seat was drenched in blood. I got scared, ran up to my hotel room, and cleaned  up and thought it was possibly just a period, but within a few hours, I had large clots.. Never any pain.. Just wanted to share that? I know it likely doesnt help much. I ended up with my diagnosis b.c I went to the ER. Good luck.

I did the pregnancy test and I am not pregnant. Guess it was stress or excercise. Have a doctors appointment so I'll get a thorough check up. Thanks guys for your advice.

It is possible to have our cycles "screw up". Also, a clot does not necessarily mean it was a miscarriage. If you take a preg. test and it does show up positive, then I think it would be safe to assume you did miscarry. If it is negative, it's anyone's guess as to what that large clot could've been. My personal opinion is that you miscarried. And if that is the case then you'll find a ton of support here!

Athletes typically have strange cycles/periods. I don't know WHY but I do know that there's a high percentage of strange periods with athletes.

Well it seems like you are pretty well informed as to how your body works and how your cycles are.  I don' t have a lot of experience with vaginal problems as i have never had any infections or weird discharge but it seems like you are pretty ontop of your symptoms which is great as things left untreated can become major problems and infections and effect fertility down the track.  I can however attempt to answer some of your other questions as i have been pregnant three times (one little girl, one miscarriage and am currently 24 weeks with my next little bundle).  I do know it is possible to be pregnant and still get your period or some bleeding - it is fairly uncommon but i have heard of it happening as some women don't find out they are pregnant until quite late in the pregnancy as they have continued to bleed like normal, also somtimes light spotting from old blood and implantation can be mistaken for periods.  A large clot could have been a miscarriage but it is difficult to tell without blood tests or a home pregnancy test to see what your levels of pregnancy hormones are.  You should still get a positive result with your pregnancy test if you take it now as it can take a while for your levels to drop once a mc has occured in which case if you do i would either wait a few days/week and try again with another test to see if you still get a positive or go and get a blood test to see your levels (might just need to pay as your health and future fertility is worth it).  I don't now if i can help with anything else as i have never heard of any of the other disorders you mention but do know that if you are a serious runner sometimes training hard can mess up your cycles and cause irregular periods and bleeding.
