OK so I'm dealing with a friend who has been on the pill for about 6 or 7 years. She's been feeling strange for about a week or so (mild stomach queasiness, vivid dreams, sore back, breast tenderness, etc.) and is wondering about the possibility of pregnancy. First timer. Haven't been able to get her to take a test yet and we really aren't sure how far along she'd be -- could be anywhere from 3ish- 8 weeks. She hasn't missed any pills and takes them as directed. She hasn't noticeably skipped a period but said her cycle before last seemed lighter than usual.
Two questions: should she stop her pill until she knows for certain? Her period's not due for a little while and I'm not sure that she's out of the 2WW window.
And is there a likely alternative explanation for someone who hasn't made any recent birth control changes?
I have gotten, pregnant,on,the pill 2 times. I always took them on time. So it is possisbly. I never atopped taken mine till my doc told,me to stop taking my pills. So wait till she has a missed period, before taking a test.
