Appointments with few/no ultrasounds?

I'm 14 weeks, and from what I was told the only ultrasound I'll have is my gender scan at around 20 weeks. What can I expect from my monthly appointments otherwise? Ftm lol.

That's how It Is here as well. You will only get one and that's for your anatomy scan around 20 weeks unless there Is a problem. Other than that, your appointments are pretty much checkin' your height, weight, blood pressure, talkin' about a few things, how your feeling, what your symptoms are, what your plannin' on doin' after the baby Is born (birth control), and then listen to the heartbeat and be on your way.

I'm 14 weeks and I've already had 2 ultrasounds already. At 5 weeks I had a dating scan and at 11 weeks I had a pre natal screening. I guess I depends on your doctor. It's q great feeling to see your baby as it grows.

Every doctor does it differently. I had one at nine weeks when I first found out I was pregnant, and another at 16 weeks for a checkup, and I have one scheduled for next week to find out the gender hopefully.

I have gotten 2 unless something is wrong they really dont need to do any more. Basicaly all they will do is check your urine, weight, heart rate, and babies heart beat. Then further along they will measure your belly then later later on they will check if you start dialating. Its pretty quick in and out. I am 34 weeks so am going every other week now

I think a lot of times how many ultrasounds you get depends on your doctor and insurance. I'll be 34 weeks tomorrow and have had a very healthy pregnancy, and I've had 3 ultrasounds (6, 18 and 30 weeks). But at my last appointment I asked how they knew if my baby was gaining enough weight other than measuring me (I'm a FTM and was curious...lol). The doc said she has no doubt that she is perfect but she can make up an excuse for me to have another ultrasound at 36 weeks just so I know! But our insurance covers ultrasounds 100%...so it may be different if we didn't have that...

I had one from going to the e.r. but I couldnt see it and my doctor said my next will be at 20 weeks. Although every time I see my doctor I get to see the baby and hear the heartbeat, my doctor has a v-scan its like a pocket scanner. :)

I've received two scans, one when I was 13weeks and my last one when I was 20weeks for the gender reveal. I've been hospital 2ce so far, the 1st one was my anti-natal: where I met with a midwife and she took my family history,  bmi, blood pressure etc,  I also had blood tests done. My 2nd appointment was for me to get my blood test results and for the midwife to check my bmi, urine etc as well as my baby's heartbeat.. I'm s ftm as well so I'm not sure what happens next. I've been told to book an appointment with my GP for a 24 week check up, and I have a glucose test booked for 30 weeks. Hope that gave you a little insight on what to come :-D

I'm 31 weeks and I've only gotten two and that's pretty much all I get. Expect to have very few with a healthy pregnancy. Other than that they don't really do much at appointments but just find out how you're doing and listen to the heartbeat. A little further in they will start checking your fundal height and then around 35 weeks start checking your cervix. Also they do a glucose test at 28
