Army life :(

Does anyone else have a military man? Mine is in the national guard and he was getting released this October.. but they called him and want him to come back for another year and bribed him with Sergeant rank, pay raise and a new company. He is signing the papers today to go active for another year or maybe more if he likes it enough.

Its been his dream to get Sergeant but with all this stuff going on in Syria I'm terrified he will get deployed. I don't want to be the mother showing our daughter pictures of her daddy. I'm so proud of him but so heart broken too..

My husband is active duty army right now he's away for deployment training. He's coming back in October but then will deploy when the baby is supposed to be born. It's hard....but it's something you adjust to

I'm an Army wife and my husband is currently deployed and will be till a month and a half after I give birth.  Times are tough, but we have to be strong for our men who do the same for us.

My husband and I are both national guard, I recently got out because I'm pregnant and didn't want both parents to be in and us get deployed and both have to leave him. He still has a year and a half left on his contract but I'm not concerned that our unit will get deployed any time soon, plus you can just about get out of any deployment if you pull the right strings, just keep your head up and just take it one month at time :) only 12 more drills and a 2 week training, it'll go by quick! Don't stress yourself :)
