For those who saw her status, she had surgery today. She's out of surgery and her DH and her are just waiting to go home now from his latest FB update. I haven't talked to him, but that's what his update says.
Yeah, not having pain and sleeping a lot...I'm more than sure she's enjoying it while it lasts LOL.
I know she will get a good chuckle outta that when she reads it...once she comes out of her narcotic-stooper that is LOL...tho I have to say..THAT part might be nice for a bit.
LOL, I'm not trying to make it sound less serious, or joke about it...but I thought Ivy might appreciate some humor...a break from the BS is an understatement for her!

See the drs could have removed them, but they were like "no way this woman is too bad @$$, we're gonna cut 'em up and let her pass 'em...that way she can say "f--- you stones, I'll show you who's boss!!! HA HA HA!!! Down the toilet you go!!!""
LOL, ok so I'm a little off my rocker tonight, but seriously you are one tough woman!!! Glad everything went ok, and that you're getting some rest...might be a medicated sleep, but it's sleep. *HUGS* YAY for you almost being done with this whole experience!

Glad that you're doing well, other than peeing shards. Hopefully you pass them all sooner than later.
hey guys only have a moment to update....thanks for all the positive vibes they helped :). They went in and weren't able to remove the stones but they broke them up...so now all I have to do is pass countless numbers of sharp, tiny shards, lol. the pain is horrific but at least it'll be over soon. he was able to get most of the fragments farther down the ureter so he's saying no more than a few more days of pain. just glad to be done with the surgery....aside from my pee looking like blood and the fact that I've been sleeping non-stop since the surgery (they loaded me up with fentanyl, morphine, and vicodin before they sent me home LOL) I'm doing ok...pain comes and goes...already passed a few of the stones. ouch. almost done though!
thanks again girls knowing so many people are wishing me well is boosting my spirits so much....love you guys. gonna go take some pain meds and pass out again before i have to wake up and pee some more shards (sorry tmi LOL). i'm sure i'll be able to update better tomorrow.

good I am glad that everything went well..Now, maybe she will start to feel better and not be in so much pain...
Ok, so that was 3 1/2 hours ago. I assume she's awake by now. I know on Facebook he said they were waiting for them to say she could go home...I'm sure we'll know something sooner rather than later.
This was his exact reply to me (I asked if the surgery was over)
"Yep, they broke up the stones and ives is in recovery room" That was at 1:19 pm.

I saw that they broke up the stones too, I just didn't want to put up before I found out if it was all ok.
That's awesome that everything is good though, glad you texted him. I didn't know when the surgery was, and I was gone a few hours so I just saw it before I posted this.

I texted her DH today earlier, she said they were able to break up the stones and all was well.
I'm not sure, I haven't really talked to her for a few days. I just know what I read on her DH's Facebook for now.
OUCH....
Keep us updated, I dunoo if you know, but have those tablets she ot recently helped her headaches at all???

hope all is well poor her!!! I know my mom had kidney stones before. Its an awful pain. I hope all is well with them!!!
