Im up ladies...took me a bit to even get out of bed lol, the benedryl has a habit of working a bit to well for me so im in lala land this morning. Im having a bit of a nervous moment, hubby has VA appointments all day today, and im scared that these contractions are going to lead to real labor, and here I am with 2 babies all alone and no way to reach the hubby, we dont have cell phones.

Just knowing my luck.....I have a feeling that him being gone Conner will decide to make his arrival lol. I had one good contraction that was slightly painful, but im going ot try and ignore them until DH gets home. I doubt this is it, but like I said knowing my luck with DH being over an hour away from me right now, it just might happen lmao

Im going to drink my coffee, and take the boys for a walk here in a little bit, and then start cleaning the house, as it is a disaster *again* uhg.

lol  that's awesome!  "do you want the epidural yet?"  ahaha my dh asked the doctors if they had something for him!  LOL

He was like, can I have a man epidural?  lol

I'm sitting there with a contraction pushing thinking, "A man epidural?"  LOL

They asked him if he wanted valium to calm his nerves lol

Well, benadryl and m&m's....I hope the benadryl works this time!  I bet if the nurse dug in while you were having a contraction it probably would have sparked something!  Everytime someone checked me, I started having really bad contractions!

Well I sent DH out for some benedryl and M&M's lol. Im hoping that I can relax myself into active labor. Im out of the shower...still contracting but not progressing in pain or intensity. I remember when we first found out I was pregnant, and I would joke about him going to the gas station at 12am for something I was craving...and he would always tell me pfftt your on your own...and here he is at almost 12am going to the gas station for M&M's lmao.

You girls should have seen him in L&D lastnight he was so nervous and anxious it was cute. He was totally different then all the other times. But all the other times we didn't really think I was in labor, and lastnight I was almost 100% positive and so was he. He would rub my belly and talk to Conner during a contraction, and was apologizing left and right for the pain lol. He even told a nurse to wait until my contraction was done before checking me, because she was going to dig right in while I was having a really good one lol. He was asking me if I wanted the Epidural yet (he wants me to have one I dont want one) lol.

I just think it's cute. I have never seen this side of him before, because he was deployed for all the other pregnancies and deliveries...Hubby is all *guy* he doesn't really open doors for me or anything like that lol, and he is really stubborn at showing his emotions. I know he cares about me a lot even though he doesn't show it through emotions, but lastnight it was so cute. Most men would have called him the *p* word....infact my dad did lol. My dad was teasing him about crying when Conner is born, barry says he isn't going to, but I have a sneaking suspicion that he will lol.

I had paged my doc to let him know it was all starting again..lol And he said there is an upside to Prodromal labor...so I thought I would share it with you ladies...something that made me feel quite better about being in so much discomfort.

Although prodromal labor doesn't tell you how soon labor will come, it is your uterus *warming* up. Prodromal labor is neither real labor or (oww contraction lol) false labor, it's like your uterus is in Nuetral before getting to drive. Women who go through this warm up phase usually have a very fast and productive active labor, sometimes delivering the baby withen an hour of active labor!

So hopefully this means I wont labor for very long, and that means im even closer to holding my little angel. Im super excited lol.

Anyways im off for my shower....I might be back on since DH has decided to play video games until im ready to BD lol. Something im not entirely excited about lol but maybe it will relax me enough to put me in real labor.

I always wanted a baby born on 10/10 since the number 10 is my fav number lol

Okay ladies...The AF symptoms are back...but 10 times more aggrivating. Contractions are still the same, but Im now feeling nauseated and suddenly anxious, like I have a ton of adrenaline running through my body. Soft stools are back....so im going to go shower..BD lol...and try to get some sleep. If anything changes through out the night I will repost...If you don't hear from me sometime tomorrow morning/early afternoon...then I am probably back in L&D. I really hope this prodromal labor turns into active labor sometime soon....im getting extremely exhausted with it.

So good night for now, and I will keep everyone updated!

lmao  I could totally see that.  I do that with my kids.  Well mostly it's my hubby who slips with the words, and I tell them daddy will no longer say those words, and their not nice words that we speak.... As I'm having to hide my face from laughing cause it's too freaking hilarious!  Although sometimes, I swear my daughter calls him Stupidhead, and i've never heard that word spken in my house, and it makes me laugh...  Just cause of how she says it..  Like stubidhead or something!

Ahhh kids are funny.   Makes me wish my camera was charged so I could take the picture of this.

LMAO! I remember when my oldest son was 2 yrs old and I was pregnant with Aiden my youngest, I stubbed my toe on a coffee table and shouted the *F* word. Well one day I was in the shower and he was sitting in there on the floor with me with his toy cars, and he ended up slipping in some water from the shower and shouted the *F* word lol. I couldn't help but to laugh, but I had to hide it lol I had to tell him that those words were naughty and that mommy wouldn't say them again if he didn't, but there I was behind the shower curtain laughing hysterically.

So I had to write this, because it's hilarious and I almost pee'd my pants from laughing.....

but after I posted the last thing I looked at my kids, and I save old sour cream containers to re-use for my kids to have popcorn in, or something...

And they were trying to get one on my sons head, lol and I looked closer and realized it was STUCK on his head LMAO  and just started walking around with it!!  Ahaha

AHAHA!  Yours is decaf right?  LMAO

What was your man talking about?  My hubby does that when he's been drinking lol but it's usually about how he's not drunk and he can walk fine (as I'm helping him walk) and how he could go drive perfectly right now (while he was in the wrong car, and the back seat of that car) ahaha!  Good times!

Oh Frost, wow...

Sounds weird, but I can't wait for it to snow!  Ahaha!

Thats awesome! My doc is a great guy...he has delivered a TON of babies in his time. He delivered his own son in an apartment at 18, and after that he changed his profession to OB/Family Doc. He is a great doctor, and doesn't force anything onto his patients, he figures he will ask once and leave it at that lol. He especially doesn't like to cause any stress to his pregnant patients, and I don't know if that is for *stress* related reasons or if he p!ssed one off bad enough that he actually learned not to do it again lol.

OMG hubby has had WAY to much coffee, because he wont stop talking for 5 minutes lmao. Im sitting here trying to type this and he is blabbing in my ear about absolutely nothing lmao. I actually had to pinch his lips together just to get 1 word in lmao.

oh YAY! A frost advisory tonight. I think I may have had to much coffee too, because this is getting quite long, and my fingers seem to be working faster than my brain lol

lol  plus if he broke your water wouldn't you have to be in the hospital!?

I think while every woman is pregnant she needs one of those things they put in the turkeys to cook, so when it's done it pops out!  LOL

I should get on inventing that, LOL

Your doctor sounds like mine, very great!  And caring!  My doctor is on the board of medicine for WA, and his dad is the ceo/president of the board!  LOL  So he is all about everyone being happy and not needing to intervene.  Very nice guy!  And his wife in the head nurse in the maternity ward at my hospital!  Ahaha!

Nope, no doc phone calls tonight, he called me this afternoon to see how I was and I told him no need to call that I would call him if I needed him lol. He is a good doc, very intuned and involved with his patients. I just wish he was all about ending the suffering lmao. He said he didn't want to break my water because I may not dilate anyways and then Id have to have a c-setion. He has no medical reason to induce me and doesn't want to hurt his career if something were to happen if he induced me, which I understand. Im just ready to pop....I told him to tell the board of medicine I made him do it lmao.

Wow they were up till 5 am?  And still going?  Holy cow!  Can I go to bed early?  LOL  JK!

Well good news for the mucous!  Maybe when they checked you it got things rolling a bit!!  Is your doctor going to be calling you every 30 mins tonight to check on you!?  I think that is awesome that he did that last night!

And I bet your hubby would love a date night!  If Conner doesn't come before tomorrow night that is...Have a last night of dinner and rent a movie or something!

Thanks...I just had to break the news to the hubby that he isn't having his guys night tomorrow. I just don't feel up to having anyone over....he is okay with it and understands completely which is nice, but I know he was really looking forward to it. Maybe instead of having a guys night I will have a date night.

Im losing more mucous....like by the tons (tmi sorry). I don't know if it is from being checked this morning, or if im actually dilating, either way im not going in lol. Im gonna sit back and drink my coffee. Im putting my kids to bed an hour early tonight because mom said they were up until 5am this morning playing, slept from 6 to to 7 in the car on the way home. They didnt take a very long nap either, so they are very cranky.

That and with them going to bed an hour early I can get stuff done earlier, and relax for the rest of the night.

WOW!  Well, I guess in a weird way it's good that it's a bit more painful!  I think I would do exactly what your doing, either waiting for the water to break or when it's too painful to walk!

I hope you don't go past your due date, but it does sound like Conner may do it for the fun of it!  I hope you are able to eat a little more, and get some good sleep tonight!  :-)
