Baby bag packing...Need a bit of help.

Okay so for some reason, I have this suden urge to go off the deep end in preparing for Conner, who is adament about not coming out lol. So I am going through everything to make sure I have it all. I have a list below of stuff going in my baby bag, I have it laid out right now. For some reason...I just feel like Im missing something, so if anyone can comment on my list, or add suggestions I would appreciate it sooooo very much!

Conner's bag

2 going home outfits (incase one gets dirty or is soiled)
2 pairs of socks
2 pairs of mittens
2 blankets (one thick incase it's brutally cold-one thin incase we have a warm front)
Pacifier
Formula (my hospital doesn't carry what I plan on using)

My bag

2 going home outfits
2 undies
2 bras
2 socks
sweater
towel
slippers
robe
hard candy
change (vending machine)
calling card for long distance calls
camera

My Hygiene Bag

Toothbrush
Toothpaste
shampoo
conditioner
deoderant
mouth wash
body wash
Floss
hair brush
hair ties
Sanitary pads
Hair dryer
Make-up
wash cloth

Hubby's bag

2 outfits
2 boxers
2 socks
Towel
4 cans of soda(he has to have coca cola)
snacks
Money for meals

His Hygeine bag

Toothbrush
Tooth paste
razor
shaving cream
mouth wash
floss
deoderant
body wash

If anyone has any input or suggestions on something I may be missing in any of these bags PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know. I really feel like im missing something lol.

What about bibs or burping towels?  Any meds that ya'll have to take would need to be packed.  I would take a back up disposable cameria just in case.  What about pads?  The hospital pads are very bulky an huge. I hope this helps. Anita

Nope no cell phone. We had to turn ours off in order to budget his disability check. Thats why we got a phone card. But im sure I can get my insurance to pay for the long distance calls too lmao.

Yup hubby reminded me of the baby book and phone numbers this morning lol. So I just added all that to the bag. Thanks for the reminder! I also have 2 nicely charged camera batteries, and an extra SD card.

thank you so much.  Oh and I dont know if you have a baby book.  But if so you might want to bring it so they can put his foot prints in there.  Oh and also do you have the list of numbers to call to announce Connors arrival.

No problem! Im glad my list is being useful to others. And don't feel bad about packing your bags at 34 weeks lol. I didn't pack until lastnight and im 38 weeks today, I sure was slacking lol.

I am so glad that you posted this.  I was searching every where in the forum over the weekend for what to pack in my hospital bag.  I am 34 weeks preggo and have NOTHING packed yet!  Oops.  I have to get on it.  I am going to use your list thanks again.  Oh and I wanted to add, dont forget your charger for your camera or extra batteries which ever it takes.  Thanks again for posting this.

Yup plans are all set out of the other boys. My mom is going to take them, and she lives about a mile from me, so she will be staying here at my house while im gone.

LOL I would bring it but you have to pay for the wireless internet in your hospital room.....BUT I may just get it ready just incase...I think I will make my insurance pay for it lmao.

It sounds like you have all the bases covered.  Do you have a plan for your children?  are they going to need an overnight bag when you and hubby leave for the hospital??

honestly you don't need much. just an outfit and diapers and wipes if you have a long way to go to get home. the hospital will give you a TON of stuff!

My labors usually go very fast, so I don't think there will be much time to play any card games or anything to that nature. I only labored for 1 hour until my youngest son was born. So If we were to play a card game it would have to be a quick match lol.

Ah good idea....I did actually buy some too just didnt think of putting them in the bag. Thanks I will put a few in my hygiene bag now.

Don't forget to pack nursing pads, even if you don't plan on breast feeding you might still need them.
