Take it with a grain of salt!
The weight is just an estimation and can be off by up to 2 lbs. Don't worry about little one's size.
u seem to be right on target. i have heard more ppl say the ultrasound tech/doctor was wrong more than right... so don't worry. my doctor was basically right on with my daughter. he estimated her at 9lbs, 7oz 2 days b4 my c-section and she came out 9lbs 8oz. so i guess i was lucky....but don't worry at all.
I agree with the others....They told me that my little guy was going to be around 8 pounds and he was 5pounds, 11oz. Don't stress over it though...The little bug will be perfect no matter what! :o)
Yeah the ultrasounds can be VERY off.
The day before I had my daughter they told my the ultrasound said she was gunna be about 8 1/2 pounds.
She came out 10 lbs 13 oz!!
It doesn't surprise me that this baby is already big.
My last baby was big.
My mom's babies were all big.
My mom's mom's babies were all big.
It runs in the family.
I'm scheduled for a c-section on Nov. 16th.
But if I go into labor before then, they'll take a look and if everything looks okay, they'll let me try a VBAC. And if not, I'm just gunna have to have a c-section sooner than planned.
You're around the normal weight for gestation right now.
I wouldn't worry.
The due date is calculated and changed if the baby weighs more or less that it's supposed to.
But you conceived when you conceived, and that's not gunna change.
Just cuz the computer says it is, you're still gunna be full term at the date according to your LMP.
Not sure what they would do if they thought the baby weighed too much.....you sound right on though. They may consider a c-section if they fear that you would not be able to safely deliver a large baby....I wouldn't worry yet though.....They told me that my baby would be 7 1/2 - 8 pounds and she was 6 pounds! They aren't always very accurate.....
So what do they do about it when it weighs to much? Do they change your due date.
yeah thats a good size.
My baby was weighing in at 5.3 ounces at exactly the same time you are, and thats too big so now my doc isnt happy.
