I packed the same things because I also want my Baby to use her own things :)
The hospital provides gowns, receiving blankets, diapers, wipes, a hat, and a suction bulb. They also provided us ready made formula from similac and a breast pump to use in the hospital. They will provide you lidocaine, numbing spray, ice packs, sanitary pads, and the huge puppy pads to sit on. Also make sure you have rubbing alcohol available for umbilical cord care and some triple antibiotic ointment if you are having a circumcision done on your son.
Have you packed some things for yourself? Some women say that you should pack yourself some stuff (two outfits, snacks, chargers, laptop) just some stuff to keep you going as well. I need to pack mine still! I'm 34 weeks :) Congrats though! I'm a ftm so i am not exactly sure what to pack either, but it sounds like you have packed a good variety of things to me.
I didn't use half the things i packed the hospital pretty much had everything. I packed a couple clothes for him andthat the only thing i used. No need to waste your own when they have them
All you should really need is an outfit to take him home in.
I packed diapers, wipes, 3-4 outfits, just to fit the weather, and type of delivery, because c-section you have to stay in there longer, mittens, socks, blanket, paci's, bottles and formula if you won't be BF'ing, burp cloths, stuff like that! I dread this part of my pregnancy because I always think I'm going to forget something!
My hospital provided diapers and a paci. Whips they had these cloth things you got wet.
And they had blankets as well. Do you have mittens things to keep him from stratching their face? I didn't think about it but someone got my daughter soon. She had decent finger nails when born.
I think your good to go!,
Congrats
