Barely Making It

Currently 17 weeks... and miserable. My husband's hours were cut back to 9 hrs a week I'm on bed rest being high risk and all and my foodstamp case has been closed they never said why but I can't reapply until January. Honestly we were barely getting by with what we had but it was something. Now I'm crying trying to figure out what to do and he phones I'm overreacting.

Some business have to pay I think its 2000 dollars a year on each employee that is considered full time... But if your not full time then you personally have to pay it in taxes each year.... That's the silly thing about obamacare anyone with a job has to pay for it, it's not free... And it went into effect January 2013  that's why you will notice a lot of people paid A LOT extra in taxes this year because it's all going to obamacare... I managed a hooters over here so we had to cut all the girls hours and cooks too.... But it's not every business in the US  but it's a good enough amount to effect millions of families .... Do some research you will learn a lot of not so bueno things about it

Theres a way dnt give up. Call 211 they will give u all sorts of information to help u. There are food pantries and other organizations that helps you make it. Crying only makes u feel like your world is caving in over your head. Tears will come buts with faith your situation will change if u believe.

If you are part time, yes if you go over 30 hours you must get insurance, but if he's full time he should be getting over 30 hours no questions asked. I'd have him look for a new job, you can get better hours in fast food!!

Actually they can ... It's not illegal, most businesses around the us are cutting everyone down to 27 hrs a week or less because if they work over 30 hrs a week they have to pay insurance and businesses can't afford it .... It's horrible... But if he's ok with traveling it may be worth it???? Texas and North Dakota and Pennsylvania and stuff are all doing pretty well... Have him look it up, my husband is in the oil field and he is out of town 2 weeks on 2 weeks off which is sad cuz I miss him all the time but if rather miss him then get sick of him
