Baths..

Hello ladies, Hope everyone is doing great! I was just wondering if anyone knew how long we have to wait after we give birth until we can have a bath. With Valentines day around the corner i was hoping to have a nice romantic bubble bath. So please ladies let me know. I had my son on Feb 6th. Thanks :)

My doctor recommended baths straight away after birth to soothe down there.  I even used the sitz bath before I left the hospital.  I'm not a bath person, though - so I only showered once I got home, but the sitz bath where you just sit in the continuously running stream of water was really nice.  I don't know if my husband would want to share a bath if I was still bleeding, as you might be, so just be careful with that.  But, baths are fine. :-)

I bath is so nice after giving birth, helps soothe the sore areas. But be careful with the bubbles because they may irritate you.

If you are planning on sharing a bath with your partner it will depend on how much u are still bleeding

I had a bath straight after I gave birth, and then every day after, maybe twice a day as you know how it can be not nice after giving birth xx
