Belly bandit?

Has anyone tried using a belly bandit? Has it worked for anyone? I looked at the reviews online and I get mixed reviews about it. I really want to know how it works for someone who is over weight before pregnancy so of anyone has any knowledge of the belly bandit please share :)

I used a off brand version and it helped me. I don't think you have to spend the money on the expensive ones. The idea is just to wear a girdle really. My midwife helped me put mine on about 2 hours after I delivered. I only took it off to shower for three weeks and my stomach went down fast. I'm pregnant again and will wear it again after this one.

I was overweight before I got pregnant as well so I know what you are talking about.  
I did a lot of research and the Belly Bandit worked AWESOME for me.  I went on their website and looked at all the sizing.  
The BFF only went up to 44"-50" which was a tad bit too small so I went with the original belly bandit that goes up to 50"-57".  My neighbor, who was about the same size as me, went with the Bamboo one and she loved it as much as I loved mine!
I'm super glad I went with the belly bandit and PS...I'm now smaller than I was PP!!!

Id say any would do. can't even remember what brand i got. but its the first thing I put in my hospital bag u can wear it straight away.

Bump I actually am curious about this also. Is it the specific brand belly bandit that world better or would any compression garment will do.

I used the belly bandit thought it was great.... I think it works it supports ur back if nothing else. I wasn't overweight beforehand and it seemed to shrink my belly pretty fast. everyday u can close it tighter and tighter which alone gives u confidence boost....so ya id recommend it
