Nothing. Lol as crazy as it sounds but my hubby and I know how to take care of ourselves. When I was younger I used to take the pill but it didn't really work for me since I'm very very very forgetful. I never got pregnant or anything like that but I'm not the most fertile person either so yeah. And with the depo shot I bled the whole three months of it! It was horrible! And that's when I started gaining weight unfortunately. I tried the patch for a while as well and no complaints on it. I had no side effects or anything, if I ever do decide to go on birth control my best bet would be the patch : ) oh, just minor skin irritation where the patch was but it's nothing..

Comdoms. I had been on the pill for years when I got off of it we conceived. I'm going to breastfeed and even though there's a low dose pill that can be taken while breastfeeding I prefer to stay away from hormones for now.

Nuvaring can't be used if you plan on breastfeeding as it contains estrogen. Just so you ladies know in case you didn't already

I Got pregnant twice while on the pill so safe to say I won't be doing that. And on deposit instead of having no period I bled straight for about 4 months :/

I took the depo, it's so much easier. I didn't have any period while on it.  When decided to have baby #2 I got off it and pregos with no problems.  Only side effect I got was head aches .

Depo work really well for me. I didn't gain weight and had no periods. Going to try it again :)

i gonna try the monthly depo shot.. i had issues with the 3 months type coz my period becomes irregular.. plus i have spotting every other week.. so i'll get the monthly one so that my period would be regular just like taking pills..

I plan on exclusively breastfeeding and getting my partner to use condoms. I actually got pregnant with this one on the pill, and I don't like the way my body reacted to the depo shot. After 9 months of pregnancy I want to give my body chance to heal and my hormones to get back to normal before I start putting fake hormones in there.

Well I would say the depo shot but since my husband doesn't want to have anymore kids at all I think I might just get tied up.
