Hi ladies ! Ok I have 3 adorable kids and one on the way,and am planning on getting my tubes tied,people tell me not to cause I may want more kids later,but am 23 going to be 24 in a few months and am satisfied were am at.just want know if I should go throw with it or take another option?

Im 24 and having my 3rd in less than 2 weeks. I DO NOT want more kids but im not even considering getting my tubes tied. Ive always been told the IUD is just as effective as getting ur tubes tied except the IUD can be removed safely if u have a change of heart. I see posts all the time of women who want more kids and cant because of it. Ppls lives change all the time and ppl have many changes of heart. Since there is great Birth control methods out there dont make such a drastic change to ur body since ur even questioning urself.

It depends on each individual. I know my mom had hers tied at 22 after having 3 kids and she was happy with the decision. But my fiance and I are on our first and have already talked about it because we said we only want one or two but he said he'd rather be the one to get "fixed" incase we change our minds later on.

I wouldn't do that if I were you ..its so abrasive an you're so young still .I'm 25 I have a 6 year old girl and a little boy on the way and considered it because i also feel like my family will be good at just 2 kids but after thinking about it and talking with others It's just too permanent..I'm gonna look into an iud after he is born ..low hormones works for up to 5 years and obviously I don't have to worry about taking it everyday ..good luck an definitely think about it an get facts before you make your decision ..Congrats :)
