Birth update!!

hey yall!!! as some of u know i had my baby 12/18 && healthy little girl..had her at 37wks5lbs 15oz and i started out BF, she was satisfied so hospital said still do the BF and also give her 10cc of formula so i was, so she started wanting only formula because my milk wasnt in yet..now its in, and full she will not suck. she suck to findout what it is then cry til i stop trying to give it to her and then i try formula and she eats and sleeps..im so frustrated cus i realy wanted to BF her, now my breAst are full and painful any ideas ladies in how to express milk or get her to want it again

U may have to just pump now. I was told not to give a bottle when first starting to bf becuz of nipple confusion. Hope it works out for I. Good luck!! And congrats!! :)

Try pumping that might help with your soreness and mix it with formula about 50/50 to start with and slowly ween here off of formula by cutting back the amount of formula you use with more breast milk that might help

Maybe express ur breast milk into a bottle and kinda mix it for formula and see if she'll take that? And then eventually move to full breast milk?
