Birthcontrol messing up or am i pregnant? Help please so i know to stop taking the birth control or keep countineing
I have been taking birth control this will be my second month. And my boobs hurt so much unlike last month and next week i'm suppose to be getting my period but i'm bleeding lightly now like only when i wipe and its like once inawhile and its more old blood and it dosen't happen everytime so far it was there just once.. so i wasn't sure if that was normal.. so please help anyone.
You could be prego OR it could be your body getting used to the hormones in the bc. I had to switch my bc a couple times when I first went on it because I had breakthrough bleeding which wasn't counteractive to the reason I went on bc...since I had irregular spotting and inconsistant bleeding I pretty much had to abstain on and off...Anyways, after two trial and error prescriptions, we found a pill that my body liked and I was on it for almost 10 years (9yrs+a couple months). I'd keep taking the pills and perhaps take a hpt and call your doc tomorrow.
If the Dr said to use condoms fr the first month and you didn't there is a very big possiblity that you are pregnant, he want you to use condoms as the birth control wouldn't have been effective yet (i think unless you started on the 1st day of your LMP) Take a pregnancy test now and then again when you are supose to get your period next week
If you are pregnant, right now the placenta isn't attached so I don't think taking your pills for the weekend will hurt anything, I would continue on them until you can reach your doctor on monday, maybe go in to have a blood test done!!
thanks.. but this didn't happen to me last week.. and now my boobs are soo sore and i love cottage cheese and the other day just looking at it made me sick.. and i've been extremly tired.. i mean my doctor said that starting the second month meant it was alright if we didn't use a condom and we've done it so much this month without anything.. besides the pill.. and i didn't know i was suppose to take it at the same time everyday.. so idk kinda worried and plus my mom yes she's in her 40s just had a little baby boy today.. i'm so nervous
This one is a tricky question. Since it could be due to your body adjusting to the birth control or early pregnancy symptoms, I would call you doc to see what his/her suggestion would be! Good Luck!
