Bleeding in 5th week of expected pregnancy

Im 5 weeks into an expected pregnancy. I was on progesterone pills from a day after ovulation till fourteen days which was yesterday morning and last night I noticed slight bleeding. It  hardly bled all  night but im bleeding today which is not as little as spotting but not as much as a normal period. I have also been cramping in the the previous week and cramps were more just before i began the discharge.

Doc says we cant confirm pregnancy at the moment since I was on those pills. Will have to wait a few days..

So is this bleeding okay or should I be concerned? Or am I pregnant at all??

I to am 5 weeks and after intercourse yesterday i started to spot brown then today it turned to blood. I was told to wear a pad or panty liner and monitor it. Some women bleed all through pergnancy and some dont. I was told its okay and not to worry unless you bleed heavy, dark red/black or clots for at least 48 hours. If this happens go to ER..i havent had any cramping. This is my first pregnancy so  Its hard not to worry. But just stay positive! Wish you luck!

Hi, what is your update 2 days later? I am 6 weeks & the same is happening. Not on pills but had cramps for 3 weeks and yesterday started bleeding red - not much only when wiping but more than spotting. It is classed as a "threatened miscarriage". get your hcg levels checked - if they go up, chances are you are ok. If they go down, chances are you may be miscarrying. I know how you feel.
