Bleeding while pregnant.

I am 15 weeks pregnant today. For the past 2 weeks I have been bleeding dark brown blood. Only enough to wear panty liners as opposed to pads. But before that I was in the ER for gushing bright red blood and passing clots. Everything was ok with baby and my HCG Levels. They said only to come back if it got worse. The bleeding stopped for a few days and then started up again brown. I know that brown blood is old blood. Is this STILL the blood from 2 weeks ago. I am really mad that I have to wear panty liners every day of my pregnancy. >=( What would cause this??? I haven't even had sex in well over 1 month. This is frustrating.

well I just moved to a different state and don't have an OB yet, I'm also waiting for my health insurance to kick in before I go. But my old one told me not to EVER worry about pink or brown blood. Because it's old blood. But I was thinking that the brown blood that I am bleeding now, is just the older blood that never came out from 2 weeks ago. It looks like chocolate in my panty liner, it's disgusting. I've been to the ER twice. I can't go again.

I have had dark brown spotting for about a week and so we did an u/s to check for a tear or low placenta. Everything looked good so I have been placed on bed rest for 2 more weeks in hopes that it stops. I would go back to ER because any bleeding is scary.

You need to call your OB and be seen by him as well. Did you see him for a follow up after the ER visit?

As a rule any bleeding needs to be addressed by your OB. Especially if it's been for 2 weeks.
