Bowels

So I posted bout bowels the other day and got no replies. Also see I ended putting bowls instead of bowels..

Anyways.. I'm wondering if its normal for my lower uterus to hurt pretty bad when having a bowel movement. I had one today where I could have cried.. It wasn't super hard but it wasn't loose either. And I wasn't pushing the hardest or straining myself.. What should I do about this?? I'm 38+2. Being induced Friday the 9th. Baby has dropping in the past 2 days so labor could start earlier- second pregnancy..

Also from what I posted the other day bout bowels.. Do you HAVE to have loose bowels before labor? How early did the bowels become loose for you just before labor? Also what's considered loose?

What happens if I don't have loose bowels by induction?? Will they give me something before to loose and empty me?

Hit the button** , inductor for me with my first 6 years ago was horrible, I hope yours is good & if your having a hard time with a bm try the prune juice I helps

I had extremely loose bowel movements right before labor started, I woke up to extreme stomach pains & then it hit. I have IBS I thought t was just an attack, but it was more painful. I went to L&D and I was contracting every 3 mins and dilated to 3 1/2 .. They just did my c/s then I was 37w2d , it's your body's natural response to clear out , but you don't always have too. Induction for me was horrible,

I would ask you're Dr. About the issue with you're bowels.. not sure if that's normal

The only thing I can think of try eating grapes or drinking prune juice a couple hours before using the bathroom and don't try to rush, just try to ease it out. I don't know  if you have to.have loose bowels before or during labor. I know some hospitals give you the option of an enema but some don't even bother with that.
Hopefully someone else can be more help!
