Boy or girl?

Im 7wks nd still havent had any morning sickness... so I'm trying to figure out does boy give you sickness or girls... Or is that just a old wise tell....

It's funny, because there actually is a little truth in this old wives tale...but it's more about women who have severe morning sickness having girls than women who don't have it having boys. Lookup "The Science of Boys and Girls" by Lisa Belkin...it's an article in the online New York Times.

Btw, I haven't had much morning sickness, and everybody swears up and down I'm having a boy, and that's what I've thought since the beginning. We'll find out soon; I have my big scan on Jan. 12th so I'll let you know. :)

I had a boy and no sickness at all. My sister had two girls and had a home nurse because she was so sick! Who knows what causes it.

I had severe morning sickness from week 6-18 and I'm having a boy. I also carried high until 36 weeks so clearly not all wives tales are accurate!!

I'm 6 weeks and haven't had any morning sickness. I know I was pregnant because my breast were sore and tender. I don't like oranges and thats ask all I've been craving.

Definitly can't go by those old wives tales!! ;-) my first three were girls, the second and third I was terribly sick..lost weight at first with them..my first was only occasionally nauseous..this one is totally different..been sick( flu like symptoms, with chills n throw up) plus I get nauseous a lot...but I feel hungry all the time!!?? Won't know what I'm having until Feb..!!;-)

Old wives tail, I didn't have sickness with my first son but was terribly sick with this pregnancy and its another boy

Way too soon to even try to guess. Morning sickness for some starts right away with either gender and others start late or not have morning sickness at all. Pregnancy is what gives you morning sickness if you get it. Im almost 15 weeks now and never had a day of morning sickness. Do read up on wives tales as you get further along though. They can be quite entertaining.

That's another fun wives tale :). I however never had morning sickness with my first or this pregnancy and I'm having a girl and my first was a girl. A friend of mine had extremely bad morning sickness through out her entire pregnancy with all 3 of her kids. She has two boys and a girl.
