Braxton Hicks?

I really should slap myself for asking a question I *SHOULD* know, since with both pregnancies I've had BH since before 18 weeks, BUT...

This little girl is head down, and if you've ever been in my shoes and had a baby be breech at 37 weeks, you'd know what I mean when I say the feeling is WAY different. With Elijah it was really easy to tell when I had one, but this time it's kinda getting harder. The top of my stomach gets really hard and I can feel it move towards my lower abdomen. BUT this may sound like an odd question, but when you get the BH can you "move" your stomach/uterus? I can push on my stomach left and right and it moves, so I can't tell for sure if it's a BH or if it's just her stretching...I mean, it feels like a BH but I'm not *SURE*...if it is a BH I'm having quite a few throughout the day, and hopefully they're doing something. 13 more days til my appointment, and I think I'm losing my mucous plug too.

You had a breech baby too? I could feel the BH with Elijah and he was breech, but they're WAY different this time around.

Every day it seems like I get more and more, but nothing more than one or two in an hour when I'm having a lot. I feel like I should know all this, but breech vs head down is like black vs white. SO different!

I just had one a little bit ago and it wasn't really PAINFUL but it was uncomfortable, and I did feel a little bit more further down my abdomen, and a good bit of pressure in my cervix. Ended up having to go potty after (sorry tmi) I guess my uterus contracting made everything squish down, lol.

Anyone get pressure in their cervix when they have a BH? I'm starting to get more pressure down low...wondering if she has dropped, maybe not all the way, but at least moved down some...

I couldn't really push my belly in when I got BH, maybe just a little but not as much as I could when I wasn't having one. I could tell when I was having them near the end cuz I could actually feel my whole uterus tighten. And the top of it was hard enough that I couldn't push in. My midwife explained it to another girl in the office that when a BH contraction happens you can feel around and it feels like the baby has 2 backs because it's hard almost everywhere. Where if you feel around without one...you can feel the back in just a certain spot.
Oh ya....they are doing something...especially if you're loosing your plug!! yay
I dunno if that helps! LOL
