Breast feeding...WORRIED

I just had a question. I am 20 years old with my first child (a little boy)! I am 31 wks 2 days and with my due date getting closer im starting to get more nervous about breast feeding. I without a doubt want to breast feed, but was wondering is it possible for VERY small chested women to breast feed? My breasts havent grown at all throughout my pregnancy and im still too small for an "A" cup. Has anyone had this problem?

Ur body will produce enough when the baby is born.  Not all women produce early.   be4 i got pregnant with any of my children. I have had large breast.  Like d cup.  And i think its harder maybe.   I feel like i almost smothered my kids. Cause my breast went to a dd.      So i was constantly making sure their noses where not covered up.

A friend of mine had smaller breasts and she was able to breastfeed both of her baby's for a year each.  Like the above posters stated it's about the milk ducts not the breast tissue.  Your breast will grow some when your milk comes in because the ducts will fill up.  Good luck and try not to worry.  It's awesome that you'll be breastfeeding it's really the best thing for your baby! Good job mommy!

The size of your breast plays no importance on whether you are able to nurse your son or not.  Don't stress about that.  You still have ducts and with commitment and support you will do just fine.

I dont have that problem, but you really shouldnt worry as you will have milk ducts and that is where the milk comes from not your breast tissue itself, your breasts will get bigger though once your milk starts to come in which is usually around day 2-3 after baby is born
