Breast milk

So I'm 21weeks and my boobs have grown a little but Nothing crazy. How do I know if ill have enough milk or produce more? Does it happen more at a certain period of pregnancy or is it something that doctors check later?

Shortimama - oh dear! That's insane! I've always had small boobs, 32B and I'm still the same size just a little fuller. So I was starting to worry, but I'm glad I don't have that problem, I can only I shine how annoying it may be!

your baby will only need about 5ml of breast milk to be full, :) and the more your baby needs the more you will produce..

You might not notice a difference till babys born.  I never leaked, or had much difference with my first, and not much with my other two, but like the other ladies said, your milk comes in after baby comes, the more you nurse the more you will make.  Ive exclussivly breastfed 3 babies so far.

Hi hun dont worry my breasts didn't change at all while pregnant, once you give birth your body releases hormones that makes you start to produce milk - not much at first but around 3 days afterwards your milk "comes in" the amount of milk you produce really goes on how much baby feeds - the more baby needs the more your body produces :) it's quite amazing how our bodies work really

Right now if you are producing anything its colostrum, also called first milk, but about half won't produce that until you are closer to delivery so don't worry about it. Your milk usually comes in a couple days after baby is born. Your body makes milk on a supply and demand basis meaning the more baby nurses the more milk you will produce.
