Brown Discharge?

somebody help me! I haven't had a period since july 25th! in august i had nothing but this month i've been having a brown discharge off and on, Is this my period or what? I've taken hpt and they say negative but my boobs have hurt for 4 or 5 weeks? What could this be? Has this happened to anybody?

I hate to sound negative, but I had bleeding similar to the discharge you are talking about with my ectopic pregnancy. Kind of like watery brown blood, and not enough for a pad, just maybe a liner. Are you having any pain of any kind? I had already had a positive hpt and then began bleeding like a period and saw my OBGYN before I got the discharge and was told that I had had an early miscarriage. I also had pain on my right side, but not bad pain like most women with ectopics describe, only moderate. You might want to get a blood test to monitor your betas (HCG levels), which will tell you for sure if you are pregnant.

I would take another test hon it sounds a lot like you are pregnant.. I would take a digital hpt they work the best and if you get another negative i would go to the doctor.  The first month can be hard to get a positive on an hpt so try again and keep me updated.. and good luck
