Burts bees lip balm

Anyone using this product during pregnancy? I am 21 weeks and have been using burts bees lip balm from about week 7. I thought it was best product from what I read, but I just found out it has rosemary extract in which is a herb you are supposed to avoid in pregnancy. Can anyone tell me their experience or if it is in fact safe?

I use their lip balm. I'm guessing the rosemary extract is probably a pretty tiny amount. I used the same lip balm with my first pregnancy, too, and was fine.

True it is closer to the bottom of the list. And thanks for the info saying it is fine I am glad to know others have used it in pregnancy am had no problems and/or healthy babies!

Burt's Bees is fine, I actually chose that over any other lip balm.

That's pretty interesting. One thing to keep in mind is when you look at the list of ingredients the closer an ingredient is to the top/front of the list it means that it is the ingredient that is in most abundance.

Thanks for the response. Yes I was a bit worried although I imagine there is small amount in the actual lip balm. Apparently rosemary is a uterine stimulant and also contains some camphor which is a neurotoxin, but there are no warnings on the product and a lot of pregnancy sites claim burts bees lip balm is safe so I am a bit confused?

This I'd the first time Ive heard that you are supposed to avoid Rosemary when pregnant. I use it daily and have for a few years.  I'm 31 weeks pregnant.
