CM or will I become preg again

As everyone knows I lost a baby June 10, 08 and had a D&E (not D&C) on June 13.  I got my first period since the D&E on July 12 08. Had plenty of sex no pregnancies.  My aug period never came but i got my 2nd period Sept 11, 2008.  My question is this-- Until i had my miscarriage I have never been so eager to watch for CM before until now lol But because i never took notice of it before im not sure what it looks like.  Maybe someone can help me out.  I did notice like a milky white discharge when i checked around October 5, 2008 and I had sex october 4th and 7th.  But i am not sure if that was from me ovulating or not.  Everyone on here that knows me knows since losing this last baby i been very excited about having another one.  Please dont ask me what my cycle is because every since the miscarriage my periods have been all over the place.

Thanks so much for the info, i looked at the pictures I have NEVER had the egg white CM before EVER.  I guess that would explain why my daughter is 15 and my son is 1 lol.  I have only ever noticed the creamy white discharge.  My cycle has never been on a 28 days cycle.  I wish it was tho.  Around the time I had the creamy white discharge my nipples where hurting alot and ive been marking it down everytime i get that (creamy white discharge) thats when my nipples hurt.
Dani711 you are RIGHT it does make it hard, although i am happy for them as well but i will post on the other site too thanks for all your help.
So what I assume is because i only noticed the creamy white discharge and not the egg white i missed ovulation AGAIN.  So sad!

if cycle was sept 11 your fertile days were sept 21-oct 1, thats going on a 28 day cycle. If your cycles are out of wack, this is what i recommend.  On day CD10 start using opks, when you get a positive, keep using it until you dont get a positive anymore. The days you get positives, you should be noticing egg white cm. For example i normally get a positive opk on cd15 and would have small amount of egg white cm, but on cd16 i acutally ovulate and i have a lot of cm. After doing this for a few months you have your body down to a T. I ovulated late last cycle, on cd18, so normally, i would of started my cylce yesterday, but it will come 2mrw since i ovulated 2 days late, thats just knowing my body and how all this mess works. I hope you checked out that web site, i thought it was pretty interesting of her to take pics of her cervix for a whole month

Before Ovulation (low chance of pregnancy):
The first few days following menstruation, there will be little or no discharge present.

Approaching Ovulation (chance of pregnancy):
The first discharge that does appear should be moist or sticky and should be white or cream in color. In the finger test, the mucus should break easily. You will only be able to pull your fingers about 1 cm apart before it breaks. During this transition time, first the mucus will become cloudy and slightly stretchy during the finger test (this means that it will still break before the fingers are stretched all the way). As time progresses, the mucus will become greater in volume.

Right around ovulation (HIGH chance of pregnancy):
At this stage, mucus resembles EGG WHITES. It is the thinnest, clearest and most abundant at this point in the cycle. Finger testing will allow the mucus to stretch quite a ways (several centimeters) before it breaks (if it breaks at all). ) The amount of this thin mucus will steadily increase until you experience your ‘mucus peak’. This is the last day of this period where the chance of conception is high

After Ovulation (low chance of pregnancy):
After ovulation, there is a marked change in mucus appearance. It returns to the sticky stage (does not stretch during finger test) and there is again a feeling of dryness around the vulva.

There is actually a web site you can go to and it shows you what it is suppose to look like. It should look like egg white, transparent and stretchy. Here is a site where a girl took pics of her cervix, it shows the white discharge, which is not what you want to be looking for, the egg white is fertile cm.   http://mybeautifulcervix.googlepages.com/

Hi.  Sorry about your loss!  I dont really have any advice, I don't seem to really get CM either, but I think it would help you to post this on the miscarrages forum.  There is a group of us right now TTC after a M/C and this question is one that surely could be answered.  We tried to get a seperate forum since we seem to have mostly moved on, but still have issues, and most importantly are TTC again.   i hope to see you over there!!  Sometimes this pregnancy forum can be hard to post on since there is so many women that are pregnant already...i am so happy for them, but it makes it hard sometimes!!  Good Luck!

The few times that I thought I had it, it was clear and stretchy...like glue almost.....like if you were too hold it between to fingers, it wouls stretch across from one to the other....Agai, not sure if that's what it was but I'm assuming!  LOL!  Sorry if TMI!  Oct. 5th seems a little late for CM but not everyone ovulated right around CD14, so it may have been!

I had a D&C last Dec. and my periods were messed up afterwards.....Like you, we wanted to start trying again ASAP....I used OPT's for several months after the D&C and month 3 worked.  You may have already tried them, but what worked best for me.....I don't think that I get CM so I was never able to go by that.
