Can I Be Pregnant After Mirena W/O a Real Period?

Nov 2009 i had Mirena placed in. Around Nov 2011 I completely stopped have periods. Nov 23, 2012 I had it taken out. Nov 24,2012 i had very little brown spotting. Dec 21, 2012 I bled normal for the whole day, but it only lasted that day. Since I had Mirena out, i have been having unprotected sex. I am nervous that i might get pregnant. Is there any chance that i could even be pregnant since i have not even gotten a "real" period since its been out?

About 2-3 weeks after sex you can start having a positive if pregnant.

If your bleeding on the 21st was implantation bleeding it would take at least 6 days for a urine test to be positive, so you should be able to take one now but I would also repeat in another week if it is negative to be sure.

Absolutely. Your periods can also be crazy for a while, mine didn't go back to normal for a year and a half after having my Mirena removed. Take a test, and find another method of birth control that suits you if you don't want to be pregnant.
