Can anyone relate to this??

Hi I was wondering if anyone has been or is in the same situation as myself?

I came off my pill the middle of march and had my normal period on the 30th, I am now 5days late with some symptoms (nausea, lower back ache, dizziness, dry skin, a few spots, tiredness, twinges at the bottom of my belly just above my pelvic bone, bloated, nipples are more sensitive with little white spots at the tip (never noticed this before), moody and a little white discharge) are these normal symptoms?

I have a 9yr old son and never had any symptoms whatsoever when I was pregnant with him so this is all new to me!?

Anyway I believe I am pregnant (you know your own body) either that I'm ill and something seriously is going on with my body!? I have done 3 tests one the First Response (altho read some negative reviews) 6days before, the second just a cheap brand on my 2nd day late and last one yesterday afternoon (cheap brand again) all are negative!? When I was pregnant with my son I think I was only 4 or 5 weeks when I took my test and it came up straight away!!

The last time we had sex, right after whatever way I moved I had some cramping, stabbing pains at the bottom of my stomach and lower back which eventually eased after a while. I've been with my partner for a few years and never experienced anything like this.

I have been told that if you ovulate later than normal (due to irregular periods) then results won't show until later.

I am aware that coming off the pill can stop your periods etc, I have been on and off the same pill for years and never experienced anything like this so I personally don't think this is related.

Would be great if there is anyone out there that can relate to this either at the moment or previously.

When you stop taking the pill it is going to take a bit for your body to bounce back and figure out its new normal. So your periods might be irregular, have spotting, even stuff like HA and breast sensitivity because you are readjusting all the hormones.  People can get positive pregnancy tests after only being 2 weeks along it just depends on the levels of HCG your body produce (every women varies). The thing about pregnancy symptoms is that they do not always mean you are pregnant, some women dont get real symptoms until there 8 weeks or even more. The most accurate way of knowing if youare pregnant is taking HPT and if you are still feeling you are getting a false negative then taking a blood test.
Good Luck!!

Honestly, chances are your body is readjusting to not being on the pill.  It is possible to get pg right away but highly unlikely.  It can take a few months or even a year for your periods to get regular again after getting off of BC.
