Can flu be harmful?

Hi ladies,  iv been in bedrest since Tuesday due to bleeding,  but on Wednesday morning I caught a cold/flu. Symptoms range from sore throat, congestion (even though congestion I had from day 1) sore body now and then and creating a cough now too. That irritating dry one. Is it dangerous for my baby?  I'm trying so hard to keep my immune system up but baby is taking all my nutrients and energy.  I'm so scared this will harm him/her.  I'm 11w3d. I drink lots of lemon ginger Honey tea  also vicks vaporub for chest and throat,  gargle with salt,  and I had to take 2 paracetamol for a fever,  but this was 2 days apart. Just so worried about flu symptoms being harmful to Lil one especially being in first trimester

I would just rest and take it easy in my first trimester I was sick didn't know I was pregnant so I took antibiotics that are not safe during pregnancy and my baby is cooking fine I was also on bed rest due to bleeding when I got sick again I just took regular DM cough syrup and slept and now I'm due in 3 days
