Can you have 2 epotic pregnancies in a row?

3 months ago I lost my 2 month old baby because of a ectopic pregnancy. Now I have 1.5-2 weeks before my next period to start but I'm starting to feel some cramps on my side and utereus already. It could be just my early signs of my period because I'm anemic and my period get very bad however the pain is very simiar to the pain I had when I found out I was pregnant last time. Is it my period or I'm a about to have another epotic pregnancy?

I had a ectopic pregnancy 5 years ago.. left side,I had surgery and the doctor was able to save the tube. We tried again and for almost 5 years nothing.  Then in December 2012 found out i was pregnant again.. I was nervous but thought no way could it be ectopic again. I was wrong.. It was ectopic- this time on the right side and doc was unable to save the tube...

Now I'm ready to try again and I'm scared to death.. Hopefully 3rd time will be a charm.

i got pregnant 3mths ago, but it was eptopic,i was lucky enough 2 misscarry naturaly (if there is such a word as luck in thoses cases)without lossing my tubes, im 24. and lost it at 7 weeks. the doc never told me 2 avoid sex or getting pregnant, but to be safe we wated for me to have a clear/free period first. i am due on my period in 5 days. but im fairly sure im pregnant! sounds silly but my dog wont stop sniffin me, my boobs have been killing for the last few days, get really hot flushs, mild sickness feeling. havent got any craps like last time thank god.cant wate for mon so i can do a test. was just wondering at how many weeks i would be able to hear a heart beat with a home kit, just to put my mind at rest. thanks emma

It is very possible to have two extopic pregnancies. my husband 22 and i at 25 had one extopic pregnancy in august of 2009 and another in jan of 2010. usually 50% of women go on to have a normal pregnancy but unfortunately for us did not fall under that category. Our 1st Dr. at the the Naval Hospital didn't hesitate to put us on BC and told us to wait at leas 4-5 months before trying again which is what we did and it was extopic. our 2nd Dr again Naval Hospital said we wouldn't need BC after the 2nd ectopic because "i wasn't ovulating since we'd just lost the 2nd" here we are, two months later and pregnant. We are only about 3 weeks along according to our HCG levels so we won't know how this pregnancy will turn out. I have just started having cramping so we'll have to take it day by day. The best option is to contact your health provider, hopefully your not military and don't get stuck with crappy service. Good Luck

The only way to know for sure if it is another ectopic pregnancy is to see your doctor. After an ectopic pregnancy, your chances for another ectopic raise about 15%. But with your first ectopic pregnancy, your chances slightly depend on whether or not they removed part of your tube. If part or all of your tube where the ectopic was located was removed, then it has not been given time to heal so your rates of another ectopic this soon after your first are probably slightly higher. I would try to see your doctor, that's the only way to know for sure.

Wow I'm surpised didn't your doctor tell you 3 months ago after your ectopic to avoid sex and not get pregnant????

Multiple Ectopic Pregnanies can happen ecspecially so soon after your last ectopic.

Well as for my experience after my ectopic pregnancy my cramps most of the time felt like ectopic pain and it turned out just to be my cramps that went along with my period.
After my ectopic my cramps have been different very much like ectopic pain.

But also I had ectopic like pain when I got pregnant (good pregnancy) I started flipping out because I didn't want to go through another ectopic.

Anyway it is something like a 10% chance of you having another ectopic.

I wish you luck and hopefully it is just your period. I hope you never have to go through another ectopic I know the pain.
