Well my doctor said he could give me antibiotics but he would rather not so basically im stuck with this crap for awhile! He did do a pregnancy test though because the hospital told me to wait until 8 weeks and he came back and said it was very positive so now it's confirmed and I just have to wait to meet with my ob dr on sept 23rd

Hello,
You CAN take certain antibiotic at any point in pregnancy. Amoxicillin or penicillin is usually what they allow and will prescribe. I was on antibiotic for a full two weeks when I was around 6 weeks pregnant for a really bad throat and sinus infection. My sister had a UTI very early in pregnancy, around 7 or 8 weeks, and she was given antibiotics as well

I think you can take them too but I don't know if they will give it to you since you are so early in your pregnancy though. I don't think they like to give anything before the 12 week mark if they don't have to.
You should try out a sinus rinse or neti pot! They are extremely effective. I have terrible sinus issues and what's crazy is I had to take dairy out of my diet because I was breastfeeding and my son was reacting to it. When I took it out, I had NO sinus trouble. Lately I've been having more dairy and I've had soo much sinus pressure and headaches it's crazy! It's difficult to take it out of your diet at first but you might notice a difference. I've heard that helping many people!

nah you can take them...they'll probably give you something basic like amoxicillin or penicillin.

Your doctor will be able to tell you for sure that they're safe, but I've had to take them early in the first trimester before. :-)
