Our minimum wage here just got raised to $11/hour in Ontario
I'm Canadian currently living in the Caribbean. And I'm moving back to Canada to have my baby for sure. For now I'm soaking in as much fun and sun till August. Proud Canadian! I just watched a documentary on YouTube called pregnant in America. You should watch it.
$7.25 in South Dakota as well. But I haven't worked for minimum wage since high school.

7.25 here in indiana. And i have insurence through my work, i work for the american red cross, and im not even 20 weeks yet and already have a good $3,000 in medical bills...i need to move to canada lol
Minimum wage is 7.25 in Texas. I don't know if its going to be raised but hope so!
It's $7.35 in Missouri - they denied a bill to make the NATIONAL minimum wage $10.10. It varies state to state.

Medi-cal covers everything pregnancy related for me and I have a job. Minimum wage is $8 and its going to be raised soon here in California. Ive never heard of it being $7.25 anywhere...

Our tax is 13% which is lower than it used to be, but our minimum wage keeps going up. Fingers cRossed the up trend keeps up lol

All of my pregnancy related bills cost $500 and that doesn't even include monthly premium. Yuuucckkk. But I got medicaid now so soon after the baby gets here I not gonna have to pay anything. The new healthcare reform has helped in some ways, mostly to the poor youth.
Im from the uk and everything is free on nhs :-) love being able to go into hospital if i have any concerns and not worry about it costing x

I'm from Wales in the UK and we dont pay anything at all, only time you ever pay is for going private. Meds, ops, everything is covered by the nhs. I feel so lucky when I see woman from the US worrying bwt insurance
