The Diclegis that was prescribed to me was to be taken at night before bed so it worked out for me. I also noticed that the prenatal pills also made me very nauseated if taken in the daytime so my physician recommended that i take both of them before going to bed. Hope you feel better!
Thanks everyone I'll try everything u have recommended I have a Dr appointment on Friday so hopefully he will be blessed to give me some other advice or medication
I feel your pain.
I lost 9lbs during the my first trimester.
I couldn't keep anything down either. The only thing that worked was munching on ice chips or frozen ice pops. (Ya know the liquid ones you have to freeze.) And take a bite or two of food every 10-20 minutes.
It really helped.
My friend has currently started the same regimen and its helping her too.
Hope this helps.
Zofran is what I take. If I didn't take it, I wouldn't be able to eat either.
Have you tried lemon? I use to eat lemon raw and it would help keep things down. Especially a slice of lemon in my water. If youstill can't keep anything down I suggest you go to the er because you could be dehydrated that's what happend to Mr. The hospital had to get fluids in me because I was mot keeping anything down and losing so Much weight it sucked! I hope you feel better mama because I had it so bad from 7 weeks till I was 14 weeks and I was miserable. Feel better soon!
Thanks I'll try the ginger ale I've done everything else crackers peanuts fruit and I threw it all back up within 5 mins
P.S im now 12 weeks and 4 days. And im in control of my morning sickness :)
Ritz crackers or saltine crackers , peanuts for protein i prefer honey roasted . Eat a couple of each before getting out of bed but while sitting up . Wait 5-10 minuetes before actually getting out of bed . Zofran is the same thing i took it worked . I had extreme morning sickness . Theres a bigger word for it but i.cant spell it lol . Try peanut butter on the crackers for extra protein . And ginger ale is best because ginger soothes the tummy but make sure its made with real ginger . Seagrams and canada dry are . Also bread helps after the puking cuz it fills your belly quickly . The key to not getting sick is never allowing your stomach to be completely empty . Fruits help alot also with their natural sugars . Apples with caramel . Kiwis . Watermelons are really good for when your dehydrated . Also there are these freezer pops called pedialyte freezer pops . They are for when your dehydrated . And they taste like normal freezer pops . They can be found where the normal pedialyte is (the baby section) at almost any grocery store or walgreens / cvs (drug store)
I'll have to talk to my Dr and see if I can try that medicine does it make you sleepy at all?
My dr gave me Diclegis to help with the nausea and vomiting. So far it's worked for me.
I have tried absolutely everything sprite crackers peppermint everything and it's like no matter what I eat it tasted like acid to me...that's the same thing my Dr prescribed Me but it makes me extremely sleepy
Zofran what my doctor prescribed during the day for nausea because it didn't make me sleepy. I was only able to keep chicken and mashed potatoes and french fries down sprite helped me and cheese it. That was pretty much all i ate up until about 2 weeks ago. I am now 14 weeks and have lost 14lbs from it
