Car accident

I was rear-ended while taking my 3 cats to the vet. My car has no visible damage but an adjuster is coming to check it out. I just got out of the hospital and after x-rays of my neck I heard my babys heartbeat for the first time!  I emt in because my neck and back hurt and I was cramping. I'm 14 weeks. I was scared to death! Anyone else had to deal with this before?

Thanks, that's just how I am. Even spinning out in the snow doesn't bother my pulse. I usually laugh about it. Dogs like that make me laugh. Luckily only my neck is sore now. I've been warm baths and heat pads for my neck. I just hope nothing pops up.

You staying pretty calm probably helped the baby. I'd definitely get a recheck in a few days, but sounds like you're probably okay. And yeah my dog's a big baby when she's scared too lol.

I was surprisingly calm since it was a fender bender. No damage. Just shook up and neck, and back hurt. Had some cramps but the er doctor said it could be from being shook up. I did get to hear the heartbeat which was amazing! I had never heard it before. My cats were more shook up than any of the people. Lol.

Not personally, but I had a close friend get into a pretty big accident pretty late in the pregnancy. She said she actually started labor pains, so they took her to the hospital, gave her an ultrasound and the baby looked good. The pains stopped and she continued on with her pregnancy like normal, her baby girl was born full-term. Hope all goes well for you too; I imagine it was very scary.
