Cervical Myoma / fibroid - 34 weeks pregnant
I was just diagnosed with a rare cervical myoma / fibroid that is covering my cervix and blocking the path of my babies delivery. I've had BH contractions, baby is already dropped, feeling pressure and sometimes sharp pain on my cervix. Am I at risk for pre-term labor? My doctor said this won't affect the baby at all. What would happen if I went into labor with this complication? Would it rupture or hemorrhage? From what i've read - this is very rare and there aren't many case studies on this. The ultrasound doc said she recommends a c-section - but my gyn hasn't called me back after 2 days and a few messages. At 34 weeks I'm getting concerned. Does anyone have any info on this or advice?
