Chances of being pregnant right after miscarriage?

Hey ladies I have question for you. I miscarried on Dec 11th at 6 weeks. I bled on and off (mostly on) until Jan 6th. After that is completely stopped until about Jan 14th when I got my assumed period. That last maybe a day, 2 at most. Anyway, I got pregnant while on was on the pill and I started taking the pill again right after I got my period so I started on Jan 18th.  My question is what are the chances from my miscariage until I started taking my pills again to get pregnant?  We werent careful that month there. I am ready now, but he wants to wait until we get married. Blah.
Any info you can give me would be great. Also, did anyone bleed for that long after there mis-carriage?

Thanks!!!

AWESOME!! Good for you and Congrats!! The fact that you are more fertile is super crazy! I never knew that.  It is weird because my bleeding after about 4 weeks stopped for 2 days and then I bled for 1-2 days after that. (maybe that wasn' t my period) I did get pregnant while on the pill the first time so we will see what happens. I am 27 and my partner is 31 so we are ready!!! I, more than him, but we would both be ready!!

Thanks alot  and I will wait to see what next month birngs!

I had a miscarriage in Sep.  Went to ER on Sep 28 with (I thought) a UTI and found out I was pregnant.  I knew I had already miscarried, because I had been bleeding for 3 weeks (I just thought it was a very irregular period.) Anyway, I continued to bleed for several weeks, I'd say 4-5 weeks total.

Once the bleeding fnally stopped, my period never started, and in late November I took a pregnancy test and it was positive.

By the way, I was on the birth control patch the first time (when I miscarried), but after the miscarriage I was not back on my birth control.  My doctor actually had told me "you can't get pregnant right after a miscarriage".  Ha!  Now I have researched and found that women are actually MORE fertile after a miscarriage!

We were thrilled, by the way, just surprised by how quickly it happened again.  I am 13 weeks now, and all seems fine.

Good luck to you, I hope you get the results you want!!

We aren't actually trying, but if it happens we would be excited as well. We were both devastated when I mis-carried. If I am that would be great. Woman can be extremely fertile after a mis-carriage? I have stopped taking my pills as my period was only about 2 days which didn't seem right so I will wait until my next one. If I do not get it or will be late I will take a test.

Thanks guys!!

Do u have any reason to believe you are? DO you feel like it? if your got AF & started you pills you should be could but it takes 1  whole month of them being in your system to be effective so USE CONDOMS lol if your not tring to be pregnant. Seems everyone is really fertile after they MC. so if your not trying use some other methods this first month girl!

If you think you are pregnant, don't continue taking b/c pills. Also, you will just have to wait until your "expected" period is missed. Your periods can be extremely off once you have a miscarriage. I bleed for 9-10 days during my miscarriage, luckily my cycles got right back on track after about 5 weeks. Good luck!

Sorry, to add to it I feel like I did when I first got pregnant. Real tired and just not myself. Something seems different. So....???
