Chances of it being ok?

Hi, i'm about 5 weeks pregnant and i've started to have light bleeding with dark blood clots... is this a miscarriage or is there a chance the pregnancy will continue? seeing the blood clots i don't think there is a chance, but i'm hoping there is!!

Yep I agree... go see your doc as soon as you can just to see if everything is going ok.

I would call your doctor.  He may want to see you and do some blood work to check your HCG levels and maybe do an internal ultrasound as well as doing an internal exam.  I myself had some bleeding about 2 weeks ago (I was about 10 weeks then) and it got on my underwear a little.  It also had some small clots.  I called my MD and they had me come in.  Luckily everything was ok and they think it was just blood coming out from when the baby implanted.  I did not have any cramping with it though.  Call you MD ASAP.  That is the best advice I can give you.

Well the night before the clots started i woke up in pretty bad abdominal, back and vaginal pain, like period pain, but i haven't had any pain since then and i also felt sick that night.. just like i get with my period... i haven't been filling up any pads... the bleeding is light... it's the clots that's the problem...

It's really hard to say. Some women do bleed and sometimes there is no explanation why but the clots would kinda worry me. Are you filling up pads or just liners? Do you feel cramps or back ache?
