Ok FTM here with what's probably a stupid question. I'm a minimalist and I hate cramped/cluttered rooms. Is a changing table necessary? For moms with kids who had one, would you get one again? Everyone I know just changes their baby'a diaper wherever they happen to be and 75% of the time it's on the couch or floor lol
Its deff not nessicary, but after working in a daycare I just like having order and a specific spot for everything...then again if I hadn't found a really nice one for $30 then I would have just gone without
I have one now. It was my nieces. I LOVE it. I have it in my daughters room though cuz she has extra room for it (plus im always in there). Im due in a month but i just like it cuz i told my daughter she can use the bottom two shelves for toys but the top is for her brother. I feel like its kinda the first step of her being a big sister. I dont really plan on using it unless i am right in there with him... But i still love it. Plus, it matches my crib perfectly. So, it will go to my moms after he gets bigger or she doesnt use it.
I just had my second baby and I chose not to get a changing table this time around. I have a plastic roll pad that I lay down on my bed and change her on that. I haven't really felt ver inconvenienced by not having one.
