Checking

Typically at how many weeks will your Dr start to check you for dilation?

Mine started checking when I was 34 weeks

This is my 3rd an unfortunately i have to have c sections but since I live so far from my Dr they like to check me so if I dilate to far I stay at my mom's so I wasn't sure I always forget

I asked my doctor I believe around 34 or 36 weeks my first pregnancy I'm 32 weeks now with my second hopefully they check me this monday!!!!

In the uk it's only when you go to labour and delivery with contractions

Depends on the doctor. Some don't check. Some do around 36 weeks. Some do around 38/39 weeks. They don't have to check you as it is not necessary to do so. Being dilated doesn't mean anything in regards to when labour will come.
