Chiropractic treatment during pregnancy?

Has anyone had chiropractic treatment during pregnancy? I had it done a few years ago due to a twisted pelvis (bad back pain), one leg shorter than the other from that, and because of my neck and was recommended to do it in my pregnancy as the pain is so bad at times that I have pain walking (I'm only 20 weeks). I was told it reduces my chances of a c-section. If anyone has had any treatment during pregnancy, would like to hear from them.

Thanks in advance.

I have a wonderful chiropractor. He helped my sister with 3 of her 5 pregnancies. He makes sure that your in adjustment, and he was even able to help 2 of my sisters babies get turned into position prior to delivery. They just did not want to get head down, but with 2 visits a week during the 3 weeks of pregnancy. I'm so excited that I have my chiropractor!

I had a treatment - but was 11w at the time.  My tailbone was out of whack...  But like evthing4reason said... as long as your chiropractor is aware of it and doesn't have any problem doing it, then there should not be any problems.  I do think it would be beneficial if you are having pelvic problems......

My chiropractor also told me, that they recommend bringing infants in (after they hit a certain age) as their bodies get very tangled up during delivery.  My chiropractor has 2 small children and adjusts them when they are having issues - such as constipation/diarrhea... stomach aches... stuff like that.

i was having regualr treatments until i was hospitalized for bedrest at 26 weeks.
I can't wait, in 2 more weeks i will be able to go again when i'm allowed up, infact i will be asking my dr tomorrow for premission to go before that. Just make sure your chiropractor is knowledgable about pregnancy.
