thanks guys my hubby likes this waistcoat and trouser thing im not too sure tho
I think the gowns are nice for a boy or a girl, usually the boy gowns have a little blue ribbon sewn into them. Or you could do a nice white pant and shirt set that isn't as grown up looking as a suit.
He isn't going to resent you for it, don't worry.
The only thing I've ever been to is a baby dedication (which is different). Basically a baby dedication is where the parents dedicate their baby to God and they vow to raise their child in a Godly and Christian manner. They don't baptize baby because they believe the child should willingly make that decision when they're old enough to do so. Anyway, that was a lot just to say that the babies are just dressed in nice clothing, not gowns.
My vote is for a suit! It's fun and different. Plus he'll thank you for appreciating his boyishness.
I think most people go with the gown regardless of the sex...but it is up to you...
